The Albus Way: Our Commitment to the Neurodivergent Community
As Albus NeuroPolicy Solutions is a neurodivergent founded organization. With that comes a responsibility to ethical design.
When working to empower the Neurodivergent Community, we recognize that our efforts impact real lives. Therefore, accountability, access, and meaningful dialogue must be centered in terms of our Organizational Growth.
The Albus Way is the way that our organization will scale and grow honoring the fundamental principal of Neuro-Dignity.
Our Belief System:
Neurodivergent Voices must be Centered in Long-Term Design
We recognize the need to provide strong, accurate and time-efficient services for our clients and base our principles off of Neuro-Inclusive practices and lived experience. When it is possible, we will support and encourage clients to center as many lived experiences as possible. We will also center an Advisory Board in our Long-Term Operational Strategy.
Lived Experience is Valuable Expertise:
Our design is based on Individual Lived Experience, however, one autistic story is not representative of our whole community. We acknowledge this and when opportunities arise to include other Neurodivergent Voices in our work, we will ensure to structure this engagement. Transparency in compensation will always be our hallmark, if financial is not available other mediums of compensation will be considered in respects to the expertise of every autistic person.
Neurodivergent Individuals and Families Deserve Opportunities for Access
Our core mission is to allow for the growth of systems that Center Neuro-Dignity, and therefore every individual that reaches out to us, will recieve a response. If we cannot facilitate immediate engagement, we will work to connect resources and support. We welcome and are always willing to hear and support the goals of Neurodivergent Advocates.
What this means for you, if you are a Neurodivergent Individual, Ally or Family Member ...
We value your voice and perspective and would love to connect with you.
If you have a advocacy idea that you would like to talk through do not hesitate to reach out.
We will decide next steps on inquiries case-by-case but will do our best will do our best to find access.
Your questions, feedback or ideas are always welcomed and encouraged.
